Friends, contacts, and associates have sent me emails with their reactions to this blog series, still in its beginning stages. I have removed names. Also, three comments were made at the end of blog #1, the Introduction, that readers may also want to see:
Nice! I think the Church could save itself a lot of grief if they would simply promote/encourage teaching the doctrine in the scriptures. Yet they don’t seem to want to do this. Why????????? Apparently this is one of those deep doctrines that no one is supposed to really know about? Yet, there it is, stated plainly in the scriptures. When I pointed this out in a gospel doctrine class a few years ago, few if any were aware of it and it created quite a stir. Everyone seems to acknowledge the fact we are spiritually BEGOTTEN sons and daughter of God, but no seems to want to understand or acknowledge what it means to be BEGAT spiritually or in mortality. It would sure be nice if one of our modern-day prophets, seers. and revelators would address this. If they did, I think it would put to rest some of the credence people give to evolution.

Bravo! I’ve thought for a long time these guys (and gals)
should be called out for what they are. They are destroying a whole generation
of young people. A couple of things, I noticed that you briefly mentioned the
Reconciliation project at BYU. I hope you address that and condemn it directly.
The thought that our Church (or people in it) are teaching other Churches, or
institutions of higher learning how to teach their youth to reconcile
Christianity with evolution, bothers me deeply. Also, if you don’t mind, I’m
going to refer this series to a few friends of mine that have huge followings.
I hope they read your blog and refer their many readers. In my opinion, this,
and other similar issues, are the thing that will separate the wheat and tares,
and cleanse the Church. . . . Bless you brother, you are entering into the very
jaws of hell!

Wow. It is going to take me some time to look this
over. You are definitely helping them
understand where they have gone astray.
---
Wow, you have certainly nailed these false doctrinaires. It
is hard to imagine how the leaders of the BYU have let this false stuff slip
though previously. Now they will have to think again. You are a thorn in their
side. It will be interesting to see how they deal with the BYU studies
quarterly magazine when the issues are released. Hopefully the G.A.s who are
responsible for the university have intervened. Keep up the good work.

Timely for some discussions I have been having with other in-laws. Thank you!!
---
I liked your heading that BYU is not there to correct the
Church.
---
Hey thanks for writing this!
I listened to the whole thing, and I couldn’t agree with you
more about BYU origin of man.
That is why I am in line with the [book title]! If you haven’t heard of him already, you
ought to check it out.
I think it blows apart the earth’s age & can prove macro
evaluation to be false.

This was really good Dennis – thanks
---
Good job. You are using your voice for good!

These are some great quotes! Not all of them have sources.
Could we get the same list with references? Thanks so much for your scholarship
and faith!
